About Koocholoo
Koocholoo is a small craft studio dedicated to creating carved wooden reliefs rooted in mythology, cultural symbols, and belief systems.
This work exists because symbols carry meaning beyond decoration. Across cultures and time, reliefs, emblems, and carved forms have been used to preserve identity, values, and collective memory. Koocholoo approaches this tradition with respect, treating each piece not as an image, but as an object meant to endure.
Every relief is intentionally designed and carved in solid wood, with careful attention to depth, proportion, and material honesty. The process is precise and deliberate, not for efficiency, but to ensure permanence and clarity of form. These works are made in small quantities and are not trend-driven.
The goal of this work is not to fill space, but to hold meaning.
Koocholoo pieces are made for those who feel a connection to symbols, whether cultural, mythological, or personal, and who value objects that are meant to remain rather than rotate with seasons or styles.
This studio does not aim to be everything to everyone. It exists to create a small number of meaningful objects, carefully and responsibly.
