For many people, Ganesha is a symbol of wisdom, patience, and starting again with a clear mind. I wanted this carving to hold that feeling in a simple and respectful way. It does not need to feel heavy or formal. It can simply be a piece that brings warmth, meaning, and a quiet sense of calm to the space around it.
Each relief is carved from solid beech wood using CNC to create the main shape and raised depth. After carving, I hand-sand the surface and edges so the piece feels clean and finished. Laser detailing helps bring out the face, crown, hands, seated pose, small mouse figure, and border lines. The piece is finished with shellac to help protect the wood while keeping the natural beauty of the beech visible.
This 7" x 7" x 0.5" carved wood wall art is easy to display on a bookshelf, desk area, hallway, bedroom, home office, meditation corner, yoga room, entryway, or personal wall.
