Rostam and the Lion – 3D Wood Wall Art, Persian Warrior Relief, Handmade Beech Plaque, Made in USA

I made this piece to capture one of the most powerful stories I grew up hearing — Rostam, the legendary Persian warrior, facing off against a lion. It’s a scene full of courage and strength, and I wanted to bring it to life in wood.

The art is 7"x7"x0.5", carved from solid beech. I use CNC for the main shaping, then hand sand and add laser-engraved details to give it that sharp, finished look. The whole piece is sealed with shellac to protect it and bring out the wood’s natural tone.

It’s perfect as a gift or a bold addition to your space — especially if you appreciate ancient legends and cultural art. I can personalize it too if you’d like something extra.
