Each relief is CNC-carved from solid beech wood, then hand-sanded to soften the surface and edges. I use laser detailing to bring out the movement of the horse, Rostam’s armor, the lion, and the fine lines of the scene. The piece is finished with shellac to give the wood a warm natural tone while helping protect the surface.
