These two pieces were chosen to tell a fuller story together. The Faravahar carries a familiar message about values, identity, and the path we choose in life. The Royal Seal of Darius brings movement and history through its king, chariot, horses, and lions. One piece feels calm and personal, while the other is filled with action. Together, they create a two-piece Persian wall art set that already feels like a small collection.

The Faravahar includes detailed wings, a central figure, and Persian writing. Beside it, the Royal Seal of Darius is based on an Achaemenid seal scene from about 2,500 years ago. The figures rise from the wood instead of sitting flat like a print, giving both designs real depth and detail.

I carve both pieces from solid beech wood using CNC to create the main shapes and raised depth. After carving, I hand-sand the surfaces and edges for a clean finished feel. Laser detailing helps bring out the feathers, Persian writing, king, horses, chariot, lions, palm trees, and smaller lines. Each piece is finished with shellac to help protect the wood while keeping its natural grain visible.

You will receive two separate wood reliefs. Each piece measures 7" × 7" × 0.5". They can be displayed close together as a matching pair or placed in different parts of the same room. With approximately 1 inch of space between them, the complete display measures about 15 inches wide.

Both pieces use the same square frame style found throughout my Persian history collection. This set can stand on its own or become the beginning of a larger display with pieces such as the Persepolis Guard, Lion and Bull, Double Bull Capital, Royal Audience, or Shahriar and the Lion.

Personalization is available on the back of either or both pieces. Text only. Please list the artwork name, font choice, and message for each piece you would like engraved.
