Lamassu Wall Art – Ancient Mesopotamian Winged Bull Guardian – 3D Wood Carving – Made in USA

I carved this Lamassu wall art with a deep appreciation for its ancient meaning — a symbol of strength and protection that once stood at the gates of palaces. This piece is CNC carved from solid beech wood, then I carefully sand every line by hand to bring out the detail. I also laser engrave the finer features to capture the spirit of the original sculpture.

It’s 7 by 7 inches, about half an inch thick, finished with a natural shellac to give it a soft, warm tone. I make each one right here in Washington, and I offer custom engraving on the back — whether it’s a name, a message, or a special date. It’s a meaningful piece that adds character to your home or makes a thoughtful gift rooted in history.
